Empire 4 Youth works with all families in order to ensure that every child has an opportunity to participate in the programs they desire.
Sons Amongst Fathers
Empire 4 Youth has been inspired to effect change through our program called Sons Amongst Fathers. In the community, we are providing fathers a platform to participate in the lives and educational outcomes of their children and other children. Our goal is to diminish violent activities among our youth in all neighborhoods in Oakland, CA and throughout the surrounding Bay Area cities by providing a strong and consistent support circle within our communities, beginning with sons and their fathers. Reports show that the absence or inexistent relationships of a present father can be a direct result to the negative and violent nature our young males get absorbed into. Sons Amongst Fathers includes enrichment and educational based culturally relevant practices for students in school-based settings. Sons and their fathers/mentor will have interactive discussions with each other, help build relationships, have friendly competition in sports, enrichment learning activities. Sons Amongst Fathers Events will be held once a month in your local community, after school program or on weekends depending on event. All adolescent boys and father figures/mentors are welcome to participate in the program to help create change in their perspective communities.
Bay Area Youth Super Sports
Bay Area Youth Super Sports provides recreational sports activities for grade levels K through eighth. BAYSS provides opportunities that promote skill development, sportsmanship and positive self-growth.
